18 Inch Journey:
High School Camp
Our mission at the 18 Inch Journey Camp is to create a safe, intentional environment for teenagers to encounter the love of God and learn how to connect with Him in their everyday lives. Hosted by the Cageless Birds, our camps are full of fun, learning, friendship, worship, and creativity! Our dream is that all of our campers would discover God’s delight over them.
Due to the overwhelming demand we experience for our High School Camp, we will be implementing a lottery-based system for our application process this year. Our application will be open for 4 days, and during this time any eligible high school camper is welcome to apply for our camp. This application period will be Thursday February 13th at 3:00pm EST through Sunday February 16th at 11:59pm EST, and there will not be a cap on how many applications can be submitted during this window of time. Once this application period is closed, we will not be accepting any additional applications.
After the application closes, we will begin our lottery-based selection process, and we will be in contact with every camper who applied. We will be selecting campers for both our roster and our waiting list for this year’s camp. If you are not selected from the lottery, we will be in touch via email letting you know.
While we aim to accommodate as many campers as possible, we have a very limited number of spaces available and feel that a lottery-based process is the best way for us to consider applicants for this year’s camp.
