Skid Steer
Stewardship is one of our values as a community and we take the tending of the 52-acres of grounds that have been given to us seriously. One of our staff departments on our team is affectionately called the “Groundhogs.” These are our staff who spend most of their day-to-day work stewarding our grounds, buildings, and attending to most of the campus’ construction and maintenance needs to make A Place for the Heart a peaceful and beautiful place. We mulch our land multiple times a year. The Groundhogs go on dozens of mulch runs every year and mulch most of land by hand. This is rewarding work, yet very time consumer. We are dreaming into buying a Skid Steer to empower our Grounds & Maintenance Team to tend to our land with a greater ease.
